Join a newly formed team of DevOps experts building a modern, secure cloud platform for a global leader in the electronic payments industry!
You'll work on a greenfield project, designing and implementing a scalable AWS-based platform using Infrastructure as Code and GitOps principles. The project follows a Zero Trust security model and is delivered in close collaboration with the client's Lead Architect, giving you the opportunity to influence the platform from the ground up.
⚠️ Schedule Flexibility: Primary collaboration is with the Polish team, but readiness to attend occasional late afternoon/evening client meetings (around 6:00–7:00 PM CET) is required.
Steps in the recruitment process:

3. Call with our client (max 60 min.)
What will be your responsibilities?
- Design and build cloud infrastructure on AWS using Infrastructure as Code
- Deploy and manage Kubernetes (EKS) environments
- Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows
- Implement cloud networking, security, and monitoring best practices
- Set technical priorities for the team and provide support in resolving complex incidents
- Collaborate with the client's technical leads to streamline processes and optimize overall work efficiency
- Report work progress, milestones, and updates directly to the client-side manager
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Platform, DevOps or Cloud Engineer
- Team Lead experience (or leadership potential and readiness) to lead the team and serve as the primary client contact
- Primary collaboration with the Polish team, with readiness for occasional evening calls with the US client around 18:00–19:00 CET
- Hands-on experience with AWS, including EKS, VPC, IAM, Route 53, S3, and KMS
- Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, preferably AWS CDK
- Experience with GitOps and CI/CD tools such as ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar
- Understanding of cloud networking and security concepts, including VPC Peering, PrivateLink, Zero Trust, and policy management (e.g. OPA/Gatekeeper)
Nice to have:
- Experience building reusable AWS CDK constructs (L2/L3)
- Familiarity with Forge CI, JFrog Artifactory, AWS CloudWatch, or F5 networking solutions
