We are looking for a Senior Python Engineer with ability to integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system. Also, our Developer should prefer to work on agile software development projects with globally distributed teams.

Our customer is developing a smart city. Currently, we are focusing on developing a Data Platform. The main focus is on the product providing standardized and secure communication between the different cores. The main core communicates with many different cores which have many different types of data. The product will touch a huge number of people worldwide and many different branches of the economy.

What will be your responsibilities?

Your main responsibilities for this position will be:

Translating application storyboards and use cases into functional applications.
Improving performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications.
Working to identify bottlenecks and bugs, and provide solutions to these problems.
Supporting timely delivery of technical solutions in line with estimations provided.
Implementing unit tests.

Requirements

This offer will be a perfect match for you if you have:

At least 5 years of practice as a Python Engineer.
Expertise in at least one Python web frameworks (Django, Flask, etc).
Some experience with Java/Kotlin.
Hands-on experience with MongoDB, Hadoop, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Kafka, Spark, etc.
Understand the threading limitations of Python, and multi-process architecture
Fluent in English (min. B2)

Nice to have:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or in a closely related field.
Familiarity with other technologies - iOS, Angular, React, Node.js, React Native or Flutter.
Understanding of CI/CD in general.
